Norfolk Bats in Churches Project;
Bat Nights

We held a series of fantastic Bat Nights, led by Philip Parker from the Norfolk Bats in Churches Project, in July and August 2017.

The nights included:
A 50 minute introductory talk on bats, how they use the church and churchyard, and some of the challenges that churches face when living with bats, along with children’s craft activities.
There were captive live bats to see at close quarters!
There was an opportunity to see bats flying around the church using state of the art infra-red equipment and monitors and a chance to see bats emerging from the church.
